Project Description
The aim of the project is 4GBB provide proof of concept for a DSL technology, which closed the gap between VDSL2 and long-term scenario of FTTH. The 4th generation of DSL offer a high bandwidth at low cost to everyone, providing new services and strengthening the industry broadband access . The 4GBB Project by former European leaders in industry and research, has developed advanced models of cable transmission techniques , high-performance broadband and multichannel communication methods and control of resources to enable the ultimate DSL . 4GBB has influenced standards related to models of cable broadband transmission schemes and allocation of spectrum , and to initiate a new standard.
